RNZYS Members defend title for NZ Millennium Cup

The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron (RNZYS) are thrilled that long-time RNZYS members, Mike and Tracy Mahoney, will be returning to the azure waters of the Bay of Islands to defend their 2016 win of the NZ Millennium Cup.

“Last year was a resoundingly successful and enjoyable regatta,” says Mike Mahoney. “Every aspect was slick, professional and timely. We can’t wait to head North to again experience the NZ Millennium Cup’s unique blend of fantastic racing and outstanding, relaxed hospitality. It is jointly the camaraderie, parties and, of course, the sailing that make the event what is is”.

“We would both be delighted to see more members from the RNZYS join us, both on the water and off, for what is set to be another excellent edition of the Cup”.

The NZ Millennium Cup organising committee is currently welcoming entries to both the Pacific division (19 to 29.9-metres), and the NZ Millennium Cup division (30-metres +).

The NZ Millennium Cup will be raced on the 24-27 January 2017 in the Bay of Islands. For more information, go to www.millenniumcup.com or contact Stacey at NZ Marine for an entry form, stacey@nzmarine.com
