Easter Rally Fun & Games Note Here
Due to the inclement weather your Easter Rally committee have decided that a meet-up at Rocky Bay Waiheke Island is a better idea than trying to bash your way to Islington Bay on Friday morning! See you at Rocky Bay at 1600hrs for a Pirate party, Pinata, Buried Treasure and more!
"Each boat must carry a dinghy (towed or ondeck)" - you need them to get ashore for the social hour.....or longer!
The Cruising Rally’s are made up of a fleet of yachts with the prerequisite of having families join the sailors and it being about the stories on the beach, guitars playing and memories being made, just like it was in the good old days! The Race Committee will stay at the start line for 30 minutes if you prefer to sail casually over the start line. Catamarans and power boats most welcome and encouraged to join in, we are always happy to have you involved and you may even like to help with the Starts or finishes. For the Cats if there are more than six you may even have your own division! Destinations such as Woody Bay, Rakino Island; Oneroa, Rocky Bay, Man ‘o’ War Bay, Waiheke Island and not forgetting the annual pilgrimage to Smeltinghouse Bay, Kawau Island for Anniversary weekend.
