BMW Auckland Regatta

26 - 28 February 2010

The BMW Auckland Regatta is a joint initiative between the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and Bucklands Beach Yacht Club which began in 2008. The event is run by the Auckland Regatta Trust.

Aucklands ultimate regatta incorporates sailing divisons including IRC, Classic Yachts, Multihulls and Sports boats and attracts top class amateur sailors from around the country.

The event consists if three days of racing including windward-leeward and harbour courses.

Divisional winners in the BMW Auckland Regatta will be invited to participate in the New Zealand BMW Sailing Cup event to be held on the Waitamata Harbour from 13-14 March 2010.

The winning crew of the New Zealand BMW Sailing Cup 2010 will be invited to compete in the BMW Sailing Cup World Final where they will defend the trophy won by the crew of Triple 8 in 2009.
