Rayglass join the RNZYS as Corporate Members and ‘Rayglass’ Squadron Picnic Sponsors
World renowned New Zealand powerboat builders Rayglass have signed on with the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron as Corporate Members for the next three years.
Not only have they joined as Corporate Members, Rayglass have also signed on for three years as the naming rights sponsors for the ‘Rayglass’ Squadron Picnic. The Squadron Picnic is an annual event that has been hosted by the RNZYS on Motuihe Island in the Hauraki Gulf since our very early days of existence. The day includes members and their families congregating on the island for a BBQ, drinks, kids games and a fun family day out.
Rayglass CEO Dave Larsen says – “We are delighted to be supporting the RNZYS and their members on this fantastic family focused event.”
Since 1985 Rayglass have been recognized as leading designers and manufacturers of high-quality power boats. Pride in product, innovation and commitment to quality is the formula for the success behind their globally recognized brand. Their reputation for excellence in design, construction and performance is the result of a total commitment by everyone at Rayglass to producing world class vessels of the highest standard.
RNZYS CEO Hayden Porter says – “We are really happy to have such a great NZ company like Rayglass join us here at the Squadron. The Rayglass name is synonymous with powerboating in New Zealand, and we know a lot of our Members own Rayglass boats, so it is a perfect fit.”
The RNZYS would like to welcome the team at Rayglass into the Squadron family, fittingly in our 150thsesquicentenary year, and we look forward to working with them closely and seeing them around the club going forward.
