RNZYS Corporate Regatta – SCHEDULE UPDATE
Sailing is a weather dependent sport and you will have already seen the conditions and forecast today – unfortunately it is looking to be very high winds and wet.
To ensure your safety and comfort we have had to make the decision to cancel the sailing portion of today’s RNZYS Corporate Regatta. For those of you still wishing to go sailing we will ensure this can still happen and we are happy to reschedule this part of the day to a Friday afternoon rum race that works for you and the skippers that have kindly offered their yachts for the day.
Everything else however remains on track and will be taking place as planned with some slightly different timings to ensure you and your guests still have a great day and evening.
1pm: For those of you wishing to arrive early the ballroom will still be open and serving canapés and drinks.
4pm – 6pm: Entertainment, substantial canapés and all bars will be fully open.
6pm onwards: Formal welcome, Prizegiving (yes we will still have one!) and crew photos, spot prizes and Food and Beverage tasting stations open, and Live music.
7pm: Live Auction (part 1), fundraising for our International Sailing Fund and Kawau Island Tree Planting Legacy Project.
7.30pm: Live Music to dance the night away.
8pm: Live Auction (part 2).
10pm: Silent auction closes and raffles drawn…music, dancing and hospitality continues.
Dress: smart casual.
This year’s event has once again been a sell out and will no doubt be the party of the year – once again for those still interested in the sailing portion of the event this can be rescheduled for you for a later date, so you get twice the fun! But we still want to see you all at the RNZYS for a night of networking and fun with great people.
In the meantime make sure you register for Galabid for some amazing experiences and products up for auction.

3. Follow the instructions to complete registration.
With 80 amazing items Live and Silent Auction items up for grabs, we encourage you to check them all out and get bidding now to help us raise money for our International Sailing Fund to make our club sailors become better sailors, and our Tree Planting Project on Kawau Island.
